Sherlock Holmes The film

Sherlock Holmes Review

Over this past weekend I had the pleasure of seeing Guy Ritchies version of Cherlock Holmes starring Robert Downey Jr. as our marvelous detective, and Jude Law as his friend and partner Watson, and all I'm going to say is BRAVO! The thing is besides this film the only other film that has exceeded Mr. Ritchie's usual boohoo films was Rock n' Rolla, which by the by I do recommend everyone to rent.

This film shows how Holmes truly was supposed to be depicted on the silver screen. I think that this film is a must see for those that have seen the past Holmes films. In this version you see Robert (Holmes) fight and notices that he brings out the sexy sensual side to this very smart man. Law as Watson, does the same. His character amazed me by all the action he did so I was very happy with this one. One of the great things about this film was the slow-motion thinking he would do. You saw how he studied a movement before he acted it out and predicted the exact outcome. I was glued to my seat for the entire duration.
I think that this film should be reconized for its spin on a classic detective and recommend that all go and see it.

I give this film 5 Stars!

I'M BACK!

I was out for almost a week and I missed not posting anything!...I have been writing and watching the teev...I was very hurt when I saw that Brittany Murphy had passed. This girl was only three eyars older than me which goes to show that death has no age range. I just hope that I get to see my children grow up and become very beautful young women.

As of today, I am mainly re-reading what I have written and as you can see another player of the story Denille has decided to start his own blog and tell about himself. Stop by and read his intro.

I am going on VACATION so there will be NO POSTS until my return 12/21/09 and I hope that everyone had a great work week!

Karah, a Child of the Supernatural

Karah Avayah is my narrator in this first book. She allows you to know her family and exactly where she gets her gift from. She is black, which I thought was very different from the other stories that I have read about Paranormal heroines. I think that going inside this subject at an ethnic stand point was what did it for me. Karah is based on me and how I would have reacted to having such a gift as shapeshifting. Among her kind female shifters are very rare and with their rareness come extremely rare gifts.

Karah is a very smart but non socialable girl, but her world flips when she meets Denille. Denille is also a shifter but is unaware that Karah is also. They have a bond that both families feel is something that may change the course of their race but there are obstacles that test that very bond that holds them together.

Karah is strong but how strong is she to save her race and love the one that she's destined to be with.

I will be posting more information About the characters of Karah, the Child of the Supernatural
and letting you speak with them from time to time so they can speak for themselves. There maybe some things that I dont have the answers to and they may want to explain.

They are very adamant about getting their story correct for the public.

Relationship Reality

I think that people that are alone choose to be. I use to think that I was alone because guys were idiots but I realized it's because I want to be. I think that in order to clear my head and get myself right I had to put the thought of a relationship on the back burner.
I also think that my idea of not a perfect relationship, but a happy relationship period, is to be equally understanding of who we are. If one loves go out every once and a while, but the other desires to stay in, that's a small tear in the fabric. Sometimes little things are what create a large rip in the spave between two people.
I love films. Movies is who, and basically what I am, and I dated a guy that did not care to go. That hurt me a bit because I wanted to share that part of me with him, but I didn't push, I let him do his own thing. But it was that small thing that started my head to tinker about and see other tings that I loved that he didn't and vice versa. I liked to talk about things where as he prefered the silent-you-should-know-what-I'm-thinking- approach. I hated trying to understand what he felt or trying to read between the lines at his bullshit philosophical babble. I ended up calling him "Yoda" because he figured he had all the answers to everyone elses problems except the ones that were slowly building between he and I.
The thing was he tried to keep me and then still do what he wanted, which was almost always none of what I liked to do. I then realized that the reasons we were together weren't going to go any further than they already had.
So for the goodness of my sanity and my books that I'm writing I am voluntarily deciding to be alone.
